Agreed with the statements here, they dont care how they are oriented.
I deal with large storage arrays on a daily basis, (300+ Drives) some systems have them mounted horizontally, some vertical.. same model drives in both.
Intel uses more power under load than AMD, AMD has higher idle power.
...it would be interesting to see how that averages out overall since PCs tend to spend alot of time idle, i know mine is idle 50% or more of the time.
its been a while but i seem to remember my 7950x idling at around 70-80w.
also depends on where you are looking, hwinfo shows total package power (Cores, I/O die, etc.)
Radeon Adrenalin dashboard only shows core power it seems, so its MUCH lower.
If they are the same price i'd go with the SN850X since it has DRAM and the SN770 does not.
...You'd probably never be able to tell the difference in day to day use, but hey they are the same price as you say.
Agreed, Perfect size for an ultrawide.
My 38" has a 2300R(i think) curve and you can barely even notice it.
This one is much more aggressive, we'll see if i get used to it.
Picked up an LG 39" OLED today... This one:

Definitely wouldn't pay 1500 for it, but 500 off was too tempting.
Not 100%...
I go out of my way to disable Ai features on anything I own.
That said, if there is/was something about Ai hardware that made it more powerful or efficient in tasks other than Ai, i'd be all fo that.
....I'd still disable Ai features in software :)
I usually do chipset and GPU drivers before windows can do any updates (Make sure network is not even connected)
I do this so windows doesn't auto install likely older drivers for Those two things, everything else i don't care about.
..not a huge deal just preference.
I have a Ninja 6 in 1 air fryer grill, it requires preheating for the "grill" preset because it heats the grill to 500 degrees and puts sear marks on steaks :)
