No. Both processors are effectively identical. The 5800X3D is faster, but not worth the money.

Sit on your machine as it is and wait for the next generation parts coming out soon. You'd also benefit far more from a faster GPU.

No not worth it, you'd be better off upgrading your GPU more than anything else with your setup.

Would be a major waste for a couple % at best and the 5800X3D would only be worth it if your gpu was substantially faster 4070ti super level min.

FYI, i use PSU from Seasonic Focus GX-550 80+ Gold, only can supply 550W.
Should i upgrade PSU first before upgrade my GPU ?

For just a couple of hundred MHz?

Nah.. Enjoy your PC, upgrade when you want to smash it :)

Edit:

Activate PBO, get a couple hundred extra MHz out of it :)

200/140/180 +200 -25 save and exit should be okish :D

The strongest gpu I'd feel comfortable pairing with that psu is a 4070 super but you should only upgrade your gpu when you need the extra horsepower.

No problems with that PSU. It's a good quality unit so it won't cause a disaster IF you'd pull the maximum out of it.

I also have an "upgrade itch" from 5600x to 5800X3D, but managed to hold on to it for now. Waiting next AM5 launch and maybe if the boards and the CPU's are not prone to any issues like first AM5 maybe i upgrade the whole system then. From what i have seen until now the 5600x will bottleneck with any card above 3080Ti, if i want a GPU better than the 3070 i have now it will do me nice!

yes i want it too, but its still pretty expensive. also i think i want to move to Intel side. but also much more expensive.
I'm waiting for reasonable price first then i will upgrade to next DDR5 gen.
